Yes, this is Step 3 in and 8 step progression, so there is much more. This is one of a few ways to teach developing swimmers certain aspects of breaststroke. Mostly, the focus of this progression is to remind the swimmer to be constantly engaged in the process, hence the strapless paddles. Also to focus intently on the soft outsweep, and when to make that solid connection to draw the body forward.

This step focuses on keeping the hands high on the recovery. Guest appearance by the teacher. ;)
